The three storey structure on left of photo comprises surgical wards 1, 2, 3 & 4.
Two levels above pillored doorway are medical wards 8, 9, 10.

Ladies` surgical ward 3. This ward shared the same floor as ward 2,
the mifddle floor
Cowan Hall. This led from the modern entrance through into the original hallway that in turn led onto the adult wards.
